Who: Joint training between National Ski Patrol and Wilderness Rescue Team. All members of the National Ski patrol are welcome.
What we will cover: Working on snow, Ice and snow anchors, rigging a litter on snow , rigging a toboggan for lowering on snow, patient packaging for the long haul, common knot refresher, Principles of Search. If time allows, we will set up a fixed line station to practice ascending and descending a rope with jumars or prusik knot.. or a station to practice ice axe self arrest.
